“I love working at the Abbey for soooo many reasons. Perhaps the biggest reason I love working here is the opportunity to meet so many holy visitors—of all faiths—who are simply coming to the Abbey to step back and encounter God and their neighbor in a deeper, more purposeful way…to actively seek His peace in their lives. In seeing that, it inspires me to do the same.”
The opportunity to be part of the Abbey of the Hills team has been a dream come true!
To 'work' in an environment where we see and experience lives being changed has been one of my greatest blessings.

To be able to share some of these stories with others who have yet to experience what the Abbey has to offer is my greatest privilege.

"I like being at the Abbey because of my history with the monks. I can still hear their prayers bouncing off the sandstone in the choir. I hear Brother Benet's laugh rattling the silverware with a funny story in the monks' dining room during the Oblate meetings. I still watch in amazement the notes from Father Mike's flute dancing like butterflies in front of the stained glass windows, and the millionth time that Father Wilfrid told us that God loves us still warms my often cold heart. And, most of all, my spiritual father, and father in many other ways, who put up with me for 13 years, Father George. I still visit him in the cemetery. We still pray for each other. Peace."
