Did you know The Abbey can often times host multiple retreats and events at once? With our variety of spaces and 100,000 sq. foot building, we welcome you to connect with us and see if space is available — even if you see an event posted below listed on your desired date. Please note our cancellation policy:
Any retreat guest reservations/registrations cancelled within one week of the event are subject to a $25 cancellation fee in order to cover any costs associated with food orders.
Should a guest decide to leave during an event, or an organization cancels an event within 2 weeks of event date or cuts the event short due to illness, there will not be any refunds issued.

Day of Recollection

"Abide in Me: Experiencing intimacy with Jesus in the Holy Spirit and the Eucharist"
The Abbey of the Hills Inn and Retreat Center will be offering a Day of Recollection.
In this presentation, Deacon Mike McKeown will speak about living the abundant life Jesus promised through the abiding presence of Christ in the Holy Spirit and the Holy Eucharist
The day will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 3:00p.m. This day long retreat will consist of two conferences and Mass as well as built in time for adoration and an opportunity for the sacrament of Reconciliation. Lunch is provided.
COST:
The Abbey of the Hills is sustained in large part by the donations of the retreatants. For those who can give, your donation will help “pay the gift of peace” forward to help those with limited means.
REGISTRATION:
Registration is required for meal planning purposes.

Day of Recollection
Speaker: Fr. Michael Peterson, OSB
"Listening According to Saint Benedict"
The Abbey of the Hills Inn and Retreat Center will be offering a Day of Recollection.
In this presentation, Fr. Michael will share some wisdom for the Rule of Saint Benedict, tell some stories and offer practical advice of how to become a better listener. During the day, he will also place some songs from the Native American flute.
Fr. Michael Peterson, OSB, was a monk of Blue Cloud Abbey from 1996-2012 and is now a monk of Saint John’s Abbey, Minnesota. There he services as the Vocation Director and Oblate Director.
