Day of Recollection - Fr. Denis Meier

"The Gospel According to St. Paul"

The Abbey of the Hills Inn and Retreat Center will be offering a Day of Recollection.

A bit about the life of Saul, later known as St. Paul.

Looking at what was letter writing at the time of St Paul.

Why the 1st Letter to the Thessalonians was the first Gospel.

Reflecting on Paul's Letter to the Romans, overflowing with his theology. The three 'special poems' found in Philippians, Colossians and Ephesians.

The day will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 3:00p.m. This day long retreat will consist of two conferences and Mass as well as built in time for adoration and an opportunity for the sacrament of Reconciliation. Lunch is provided.

This month we ask that you bring non-perishable items to help our local food bank feed the hungry during this holiday season.

The Abbey of the Hills is sustained in large part by the donations of the retreatants. For those who can give, your donation will help “pay the gift of peace” forward to help those with limited means.

Registration is required for meal planning purposes.
