Deacon Tim and Julie Dickes from Sioux Falls, SD are our featured presenting couple for this relaxing couples retreat designed to be an insightful & enjoyable weekend together with your spouse.  They will witness God’s love for all marriages by:

  • Understanding the powerfully role prayer can be for married couples.

  • Gaining recognition of how God the Father, Jesus his Son, and the Holy Spirit come together in real and practical ways to bless married couples throughout the ‘seasons’ of their relationship.

  • Just like she did at the wedding at Cana in John 2, discovering how the Mother of Jesus continues to intercede for all married couples and guides them to ,” in faithfully living out Christ’s call for your marriage.


Couples of all faiths are encouraged to attend this uplifting weekend that will include numerous witness talks; plenty of down-time for reflection, rest, and revitalization; plus opportunities to attend Reconciliation & Adoration and Mass—as well a very special “Candlelight Date Night Dinner” Saturday evening.


COST: Freewill offering retreat with non-refundable $25 deposit to reserve your space.  No one will be turned away for inability to pay.  For those who can give, a suggested donation of $200 will help “pay the gift of peace” forward to help those with limited means.

Deacon Tim was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate on the feast of Our Lady Help of Christians - May 24, 2018.  He serves at the Cathedral of St. Joseph and together Deacon Tim and Julie have done prison ministry for the past 6 years.  They have been married for 12 years.  Tim is the father of Tyler and Kimberly and grandfather of Grant and Matthew.  Julie is the mother of Clint and Jason and grandmother of Kyle and Noah.   They are members of Teams of Our Lady, an International Catholic Movement where couples come together once a month to pray together, to grow in their faith and their sacrament of Matrimony
